Once voted as the Male Singer of the Year, Everton ‘Singing Melody’ Hardweare explores new horizons for his talents. Aside from L.U.S.T., his energies are now been given to exposing the other elements of his melodious package.

Recently Singing Melody embarked upon the quest to give new perspective on his singing career. Still he reaffirms his commitment to L.U.S.T.

Back in 1997, Melody was one of the founders of the L.U.S.T. His contributions, equal to that of other members earned for the group five award wins in the Jamaica Music Awards (JMA), copping awards for “Best New Artistes” Best Live Performance (Group” Best Vocal Performance (Group). They have performed on some of the most impressive stages, including the renowned MIDEM music conference, France. Together the group also has topped local charts with at least two of their popular songs.

The impressive group has arrested international niches, with hits such as their LUSTful version Air Supply’s original “Just As I Am.” This alone earned for them many sold out performances in Japan , where their “Sweetness of Love” climbed to the number one spot on charts. They also secured high leverage with their massive collection and individual catalogues. In tours in New York and Fort Lauderdale , they were returned in three encore performances.

Earlier this year, they launched “Do you love me”.

The most recent L.U.S.T. memorable moment is their stint with Roberta Flack on Jamaican stage, and special appearance at the Independence Celebrations Grand Gala.

On his own, Melody has garnered harmonious treasures, tapping into the fact that the world has “plugged into Jamaican music”. As co-founder of S.H.E.M. Music Productions with Michael Steer, he is working as producer in signing new talent. His personal career skills comprises arranging, and composing. His overseas collaborations extend to include with Hollywood on Lifetime. Hollywood – the son of Kool from Kool and the Gang — has a long history in music.

The soft spoken personality has appeared on the Traxx. With improved and improving lyrics he has sustained personal leverage. He has already released several singles including “Lady”.

Years of adding new to LUST, “Singing Melody” continues to soothe many as an individual note.

No stranger to since he first on wax in 1987 and hits, around the Caribbean , such as Shower Me With Your Love, Singing Melody is bent on scoring big, being the versatile achiever he is.

Come 2010, Singing Melody releases a new album, done in collaboration with Beenie Man. Before that, in November 2009, Melody will be dedicated to a mini tour with L.U.S.T in Japan.

Melody is currently being featured in the re-release of the reggae version of “Lifetime” by the multi-platinum R&B group Prophet Jones. He’s working on Kemar “Flava” McGregor’s next release which is a compilation of “Rock Steady”.

For charity, Singing Melody has dedicated a new video for “I can only Imagine”. So far this act of kindness has been ordained on organizations such Bustamante Children’s Hospital.
